Driving social media awareness and engagement: Giveaway campaign & digital strategy for OTOblocs

OTOblocs is a fidget toy brand that creates playful, engaging products for stress relief and focus.

 

During a five-month contract, I focused on strengthening the brand’s digital presence by growing social media awareness and driving engagement. A key initiative was the strategy and execution of a giveaway campaign partnered with a local beauty business, Amazonas. This campaign was designed with a goal to increase brand awareness and engagement on Instagram through a self care box giveaway.

Overview

  • Redesigned and optimized the Shopify e-commerce website. 

  • Researched, identified, and engaged micro-influencers aligned with the brand’s target audience.

  • Planned, created, launched, and monitored social media content and giveaway campaigns.

  • Collaborated with business owner on Facebook ad strategy, execution, and performance monitoring.

  • Implemented on-page and off-page website search engine optimizations

  • Monitored website analytics and competitor performance to guide optimizations.

  • Designed and executed a self-care giveaway campaign with engagement-driven mechanics (such as commenting, tagging, participation prompts).

  • Leveraged influencer outreach and paid social ads to increase reach and conversions.

  • Aligned social strategy with website and search engine optimization efforts to support a cohesive digital ecosystem.

Execution and Impact

  • Generated 67 comments and 23 likes on a single giveaway post.

  • Significantly exceeded the account’s average engagement rate of 3.19%.

  • Increased organic website traffic and search engine visibility through on-page and off-page search engine optimizations.

  • Increased brand visibility and awareness through influencer collaborations, paid ads and consistent social media content posts.
